Well yeah, just like the talk of the PROcede to begin with.
v2.0 is the newest and greatest thing, there are thousands of posts about it before it even was released to the beta testers.
You video is the first comparison of v2.0 to v1.47, so like the talk of v2.0 to begin with, the "proof" in the vids is bound to show tons of interest.

Can't wait to see dozens more as more and more people get their v2.0 and start racing other cars too.
I'm surprised the beta testers are still sworn to silence.

It would be nice for them to chime in and give us their thoughts and impressions of having v2.0 or the past month or two.

This is the Procede V2 thread...

Procede is a piggy back ecu interceptor that "refines" the oem spec engine to give 100+hp/TQ in CONJUNCTION with a catback exaust - that could be what's caused the kerfuffle.

SJ

I am just asking in general//// what does an exhaust do for the 335.... other than sound I can't see it doing much (3-5rwhp) isn't noticeable at all...

Shiv are the downpipe maps for catted or non-catted downpipes? Will there be different maps for each or is it fine to use the same map?

Actually catbacks that remove the secondary cats are putting 15-18 rwhp more to the car.
Secondary cat back exhausts, like the Borla that keep the 2nd cats in place are adding 10-13 rwhp.

For $1000-1500 they do a lot.
Plus most of them drop 25-35 lbs in weight off your car too. That is equal to another 2-3 rwhp.

a catback that deletes the secondary cat... is that different then replacing a downpipe?

yes.
Catbacks are from the DP's back.
"axleback" are usually from the rear axle (or from secondary cats) back.
DP's are separate.
Exhausts that remove the 2nd cats are louder and cause drone when cruising under certain rpm conditions.

If you have DP's and catback exhaust, it's usually referred to as full exhaust.

In general, depending on the restrictiveness of the factory exhaust, changing to a larger/straighter exhaust on a turbo car can make a huge difference. The pressure differential across the turbine affects how quickly the turbo spools up, as well as the maximum speed that the turbo can spin, therefore you want as low backpressure as possible on a turbo engine. Your Corvette, not having turbos, would not see such a big change.

Funny, I like the 135 styling a bit better than the 335 coupe. It looks less bloated. Still waiting to see one in person though. The 335 looks better in person than in pictures, so it's possible the 135 might look worse.

To stay on topic... nice runs Walked U. It's good to see that the N54 is just as moddable as previous turbo engines.

I have seen the 120d in person before and it looks better in person as well. I am waiting for a magazine review between the 335i and the 135i. If the 135i is a better performer that's the car I will get if not I will have to decide between cayman s and the 335i.

How much are catbacks for the 335?

I was thinking of leaving stock 'exhaust' and changing the DPs from the RR guys

$1000 and up.
Borla is around $1100 installed.
I think the AA Catback is around $1200-1300 and sounds sweet and makes good power too, but you may get a bit or drone while cruising.
The Borla seems to make 3-5 rwhp less than the catbacks, but it's cheaper, and doesn't drone apparently.

If you want loud, get the Eisemann, which I think is a bit more expensive, makes good power, and is loud.

Nice run. I believe the races. I usually can stay with E60 M5s in my stock M3, higher speed 80mph and above they will slowly walk me. Considering they have 450hp to my 333hp and they also weight about 500-600lbs more. It pretty much makes sense.

Those mods listed aren't really going to do anything on that M5. Is that supposed to be 500hp? I don't think, exhaust, intake etc you listed is going to give 50hp on that car..hardly does anything even with tuning. Same is true for the E46 M3.

Good run.

Well, you started a thread in their forum showing (well, "barely showing" b/c the vidds are almost pitch black) a 335 beating a modified M5 (550-560hp). I mean, you weren't expecting hugs and kisses from them, right?

Think of it this way: if I was to post on e90 one of the many youtube vidds (which I hate btw b/c they probe nothing) showing modified Evos destroying Procede 335s I wouldn't expect a very warm response from the e90 community.

Just my .2c
