New LSD Option for our 335d?

If he didn't have a core, there wouldn't be any alternative but to ship yours, right? He says he has only 1 in post #36.

I wasn't too clear in exchange above. Mfactory says they aren't producing the 2.81 yet, only the 3.08 and 2.56. But he does say the OEM parts are available.

Mfactory, did you mean you can use OEM 2.81 R&P or that we would have to convert over to 3.08 or 2.56? I would want to keep the 2.81 ratio. I don't want to turn any higher RPMs. I'm unsure if the 2.56 would lug down the acceleration too much thus I would want to stay put at 2.81.

Iaknown, what ratio are you getting?

That price quoted is for the full pumpkin i.e

1) Receive new pumpkin
2) Remove old pumpkin
3) Bolt up new pumpkin
4) Ship back old pumpkin

We have 1 x 335d 2.81 core in stock at the moment. After this is sold, anyone else who orders will have to either:

1) wait till we get another 335d 2.81 core in stock or
2) ship us their core first and we can do the machining work directly on their core

As we do not make our own 2.81 R&P, we need to machine the oem, hence the need for a core. Ratio will not change (unless you wanted a different ratio)

Update: We actually have another 2 cores coming in now.

Everything is the proper 2.81 ratio, forget about the other ratios. This is why we had to wait so they could prep the 2.81 diffs.

It's a great price. Do some thorough research for our particular 335d model and you'll quickly realize this.
