Not all that surprised. No way Seattle wanted to pay that much for him. I'll be curious to see who the Hawks draft and sign to play with Doug and Percy.

Pats are probably the most consistent team, every year they they seem to be one of the last teams standing. It's gotten to the point where everyone is tired of them winning, but Tom Brady is a beast. Last year I saw so many comeback wins from that team.

Eh, they are probably offering him a lot less and a much shorter contract than he wanted. Now he has to mull over what is more important, the contract or a potential ring, before he retires. He's worth it so let him decide in his own time, we aren't going anywhere.

Pretty far removed from Seattle as it's about :90 northeast of downtown. Very rural area but I have spent time hiking with my pup up there in recent years. Hard to fathom the scope of the thing.

So true, to just be minding your own business at home and buried alive. Makes you sick to imagine.

well glad you guys are out of harms way.

so this question, of course, but do you guys think these residents knew of the possibility of this happening? I mean you guys get a ton of rain, and with all the hilly areas.. it's like all of those folks who live in tornado alley.

I also understand you have to buy mudslide insurance, homeowners does not cover this?

Well this morning on my way to work I heard that there's strong indication that the large clear cut recently performed above the slide is looking like the culprit.

I hope they got him cheap, I'm still not convinced he's the answer as the big wideout.

Great athlete, maybe not as a QB, but there's no denying his ability.
