Guys, I understand the anxiety and all the wait for the product, trust me, i sweat the timeline more than all of you. But it was christmas weekend, of course i wasn't on! We haven't dissappeared with your money, bla bla bla etc... if that were the case we would have done that long ago!

It's like I said before, the shop is closed for the holidays so right now we are a little frozen. I'm going to do everything I can to get some pictures. I know that everyone here deserves them. I'm trying my best, but it is that time of the year

This intake is suppose to be for those who already have a procede or some mapping of the kind.

ok i have the dinan tune so i am golden i guess!!!! one thing though BAV...What is the timeline? before you said you were trying to get these done before the holidays!!!! now we have new years and that's it!!!!

1. did you get the first piece done?

2. What are the dates of the last 3 parts for production?

3. How long till we have them?

4. Why is it so difficult to open the hood and snap some pics of the intake?

5. since it's so easy to remove why can't you remove it off the shop car and snap some pics?

I own a company that does business with HUGE corporations some larger than bmw itself!!! if i gave lead times on film or packaging without est production dates i would be screwed...how do you guys do it? please Bav give us some updates with honest production dates!!! if you guys had a plan all of this would have never happened...i don't understand how you do not have dates set in stone(give or take a day) for the production of the other 3 parts..and if the one part is already made and there are 20+ of them why can't we get a photo of one of them? 99
% of the updates have been crappy updates not talking about the products or letting us know when they are being produced... your boss doesn't have the pics on his comp? he can't email them to you? crap my company never closes hell i was doing work on Christmas!!!! when i have thousands of people or even just 1 person counting on me i try everything in my power to deliver...why can't this be done on a product that has been in production for so long? why can't we get and honest update?

right away the first post alks about how sry you are and how the business is closed for the holidays...i understand how this can happen...but not getting us photo's or being able to retrieve dates for production of the final 3 parts if the one has actually been made is unacceptable!!! we don't want an "i am sry post"!!! we want that plus ANSWERS!!!! we have asked a bunch of ?'s and you haven't given us any answers? if this was all set in stone those production dates would be simple to obtain!!!! why the slacking!!!! you would sell tons of these if you would just have them out to the people in the GB for dyno testing and so on!!! you say you are trying but we have no proof other than saying sorry...in my business you would be out in the street!!! i asked a lot of easy q's to answer....why can't you answer them!!!!! if you were planning to have these to us by Christmas what went wrong? you have been gone for a couple days and there are tons of Q's to be answered and all you say is i am sorry i will try to get some pics.. come on Bav stop hiding...if it's gonna be 2 months say so but don't take us for a ride...you already have and look people are getting pissed!!!!

I just hope the wait is worth it.

For $800 I'm expecting 100% grade a+ quality.

The weave has to be 110% perfect. The carbon fiber has to withstand the engine temps. And absolutly no blistering of the clear coat.

I'm saying this because I had a bad experience with a pair of carbon fiber grills I had on my car.

First off, I hope everyone had a happy and safe new years, welcome 2008!

Wow, all this on new years eve! As I've already tried to explain before. I work for BavDom in customer service and sales on the forums. I do what I have to and aside from that I state what my boss tells me to, or I get fired.

All of BavDom is closed right now, EXCEPT for me, the reason being that my job can be done from home on the internet. On the 26th i posted responsibly, that I was going to be away for new years. I understand if some of you work in companies that don't close, unfortunately BavDom is not there yet, and it's not my call. To let you all know, I spent new years in south america, I'm still here and should be traveling back home very very soon. To access the internet in the town i am in, i have to drive six miles and sit on the sidewalk as I "borrorw" the internet from an office there is.

I promise I will work harder to keep you guys happy, but please keep in mind that if i don't post a response, it is NOT because saw it and ignored it, its simply because i haven't checked it. I mean, it's NEW YEARS! The world basically shuts down, but I still try my best. Customer Service is very hard, you're stuck between pleasing the customer and your boss, and my primary goal is my customers.

I will call him, long distance tomorrow, and IF he picks up, I'll ask him if he has any pics on his laptop. Purplewidow, I understand your frustration, but I ALWAYS DO and will continue to do my best to keep you updated. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to post or PM me, PMs reach me quicker and faster. I will try and come here again tomorrow to post or see any questions you might post from now until then. Thanks

This is why I don't do group buys on here anymore.

If the "vendor" doesn't have a product already made, and needs the GB for starting capital, it's never a good thing.

i guess since we've waited this long, might was well wait a little longer to see where this thing goes... no sense asking for a refund now that things are in production. But I do agree that this will be the last time I do a GB where the product is not produced yet.

My bad if I come off negative, but I'm just a realist.

Trust me though, if this thing ever pans out, I'll be one of the first to place in my order.

same here... I was on the original GB list. Not ashamed to admit it. My intuition was right on this one, but that doesn't mean BavDom is a bad vendor... I'm sure they will eventually deliver, and the interest I made on the money that coulda gone to them will make up for the non-GB price!!! ha ha.. j/k.
