Yes, that's on Royal Deeside, a wee bit further south from here and not too far from The Queen's castle at Balmoral.
The forecast for the next few days is bad with a few Severe Flood Warnings being issued by the Met Office.

I had a site drive fail on me at Watkins Glen over the summer. Utterly devastated, it was a bad weekend. All told I lost that hard drive, my laptop's motherboard died in the media center, and I lost a camera to rain (My bag wasn't as waterproof as I was lead to believe)

I had the drive recovered and for the past couple days have been going through what was lost. Here's one of my favorites so far.

Here's another shot of the Porsche. I fell in love with this car. It's really the first Porsche I've ever driven (took a GT3 out on a track for a couple quick laps before, but you don't really get a feel for a car that quickly). Holy shit was I disappointed going back to my F30. I didn't realize there was a whole-nother level of street car above BMW. Very impressive vehicle.

I also almost got a $1,000 ticket for this photo because I was parked in the middle of the road lol (even with it's 25mph speed limit)

Is that Red Rock out near Vegas? Some cop actually gave you a hard time about that? Did traffic have to stop while you were shooting or something? I mean, what was his beef?

Valley of Fire, just outside Vegas. There was next to no one else out there. I might have seen 3 or 4 vehicles in the hour or so I was in the park. He came up from behind me and blipped his siren too lol.

Park cop? Sometimes they can have Clipboard Syndrome and think they're Wyatt Earp.

Valley of Fire is a very cool place, though. Must have been hard resisting the urge to blast down some of those roads in that car.
