Wasn't a fan during the reveal but with this comparison, it absolutely blows away the m240i. Looks way better

Could be on an island by myself, but I am glad they gave the G87 its own unique identity, including the single headlamp. I wasn't looking for 'Son of Fang', nor especially a mini-me M4.

It is now definitely a whole new different cut of sausage.

Love the design or hate it, there will be absolutely no doubt you are looking at an M2, and not an M2-Lite nor an M4 no matter what angle you are scoping it from.

PROPS to the design guys for having the cajones to design it out of the conventional BMW box.

Based on the impression the G42 made on me last November when I saw it in person for the first time, the G87 is going look incredible in real life.

The G42 already looked like an M2 to me; I can only imagine the impact of the G87, with the wider body, larger wheels, CF roof, and super-aggressive extruded boxy scoops on all four corners.

April 2023 suddenly feels very far away.

The M240i has a more cohesive design but the M2 is a stunner

M2 looks sweet and manual transmission is nice...but why spend more $$ when the M240
Is faster 0-60 & Quarter mile!!! Happy with my G42!!!

Eh, to me it looks like the hood is bulging out in a muscular, power bump, sort of way. The only angle that I feel it looks slightly off is from this one (dead on from the front).
