Also do you guys have any retailers in San Francisco, I would rather not take my panels apart myself these days, so if it creaks or something breaks, I want someone else liable |

We have a couple guys out in California. EvoSport and Valley Motorwerks and La Jolla Independent. I do not know if they are close to you know.
I assume there will be some sort of Pre-Order or Group Buy at release. I don't have the exact details of that yet |

I am excited to see the complete package (amp upgrade and sub). I am tempted to get the stage 1 speaker set now, however, I think I'm going to wait to see the whole package together.
In your (oops, edit) opinion, do you think that an amp and sub upgrade would be ok, while keeping the stock speakers? Also, will the amp upgrade also incorporate an additional channel for an additional sub (on top of the underseat ones)? Last edited by samps; 10-23-2008 at 03:51 PM.. |

Amp upgrade will be for interior drivers and our sub systems always have their own amps. I cannot comment if that will change once we release the amp upgrade. I would give the Stage 1 a shot. We have MANY customers that 'know' they need an amp. With our 30 day satisfaction guarantee they go with just the Stage 1 and are almost always surprised at the results and happy they saved their money from buying an amp. In my 99 M3 I have just a stage 1. It is a track car now but I enjoy the tunes driving to and from events The 86 5er we had to start from scratch so it has some more equipment |

Hmm. I'm curious though what your opinion is on just replacing the interior drivers with the stock amp. No doubt there will be an improvement, but I feel that the stock Logic7 system as is, is pretty decent, minus the low end bass.
I hate to play devils advocate here, but what is your thought on the stock system itself? ie. drivers are not great, but amp is ok, hence the stage 1 setup (replacing some drivers only). If that is the case though, it begs the question, is the stock amp suitable for the stage 1 speakers? I suppose I could just go with the stage 1, and swap the old amp with your amp replacement when it comes out. Can you tell me what speakers are included in the stage 1? My understanding is that you replace: front door speakers rear deck speakers tweeters left intact underseat subs left intact. Thanks. |

I hear yah. We are here to answer questions
What is included: Replace ALL Midrange/Midbass Drivers Replace ALL Tweeters Replace Center Channel where applicable We engineer and build speakers that match the factory settings but improve items such as efficiency, material and build quality. We want our drivers to first off last longer than the OEM drivers. If older BMWs are any indication you are looking at roughly 2 years and your first driver will fail We do this by increasing the build quality and upgrading materials. When we upgrade materials this leads to that richness and smoothness owners are expecting out of their vehicle. We move to silk tweeters and fiberglass blend. On the tweeter front this creates a much richer and deeper highs. Factory BMW tweeter have always been plastic and they are harsh at higher volume levels. With the midrange/midbass we went with the fiberglass blend for rigid drivers that are also much smoother. Almost all e90s have metal drivers in this location. Not the best and can be VERY fatiguing at higher volume levels. Efficiency is also increased. This allows the power the drivers do receive to be used much more effectively. Is there a further upgrade to be had from an amp? Most definitely. That upgrade is simply not necessary for many owners. They are looking for a system that matches what they believe they should have received from the dealer when they bought the car. If the stage 1 just isn't quite enough you can add the amplifier or return. That is what the 30 day satisfaction is for You may find you don't need it as many do. |

Nice. Well put. Thanks for the response. This is exactly the type of information and informed responses I expect from vendors. I'll give this thought and then decide what I'm going to do.
Thanks again. |

All of the packages will be released soon. We just have to get packages and shipping to our location down for each system one at a time.
They are all coming! |
