boxsters may be slow in a straight line cause of their low power... but they handle beautifully
the boxster, from my limited experience of only having my 335i for a month, handles way better.

the C2s, IMO, is a great combo (power+handling) but that's an 80k car.. compared to a 60k 335i (e93)
big difference there...

you cant really compare a viper to a boxster.... totally different cars...
all the cars are good in their own specifically designed ways.
also, the driver is the biggest factor.
give one of us a Lotus, and give a pro drive a POS, and I'm sure the pro will still win.. but that is common sense.

so i dont think you should go bashing on the boxster.... or any car for that matter... if a car is a women's car, then, like said before me, i guess they might be on to something...
