Uh? Dude where are you getting your facts? Android is way ahead of the iPhone. You should do more research before stating inaccuracies. Here are some useful keywords you can use: removable battery, microSD slot, free turn by turn navigation (which I use over the 2009 iDrive because it's so much more accurate and up to date), Google Goggles, Google Skyview, Flash support just to mention a few. Apple has been an evil company for years and it keeps on getting worse, which is a shame because I would welcome any valid and honest M$ alternative based on open source.

With regards to your opinion on the Tunes... I have yet to buy one and don't want to shit on Mike's thread, but I see what you mean.

To get this back on track

Just a little more info on the JB3 gauge user configuration. The idea is to let you adjust what parameters you want on each gauge in the software. Gauges are sort of a personal choice and I imagine there will be 100 different opinions on whats best. So why not let everyone decide for themsevles.

Default will likely be boost on the fuel gauge and all others disabled. Meth users will probably want to put meth flow on the oil temp. Others might want timing advance, or IAT there. Maybe you already have a P3 vent gauge and want meth or timing advance on the fuel gauge. I assume most will leave the speedo hijack disabled but it's there if you want it for some short term project. Regardless of how you configure them then you can enable or disable your entire configured dash hijack using a hot button (DTC, flashers, etc, TBD). And some other cool features are being incorporated such as allowing you to configure the blinker light display as a shift light (you set the RPM), knock light, etc. Much work to do but they are getting closer by the day. I'll post an updated video in a few days.

Mike

Mike can you trigger an odd dash light if the methanol flow voltage exceeds a user preset value? That would be nice for us to know easily with a light on the dash if we have something like 300 ml/min or more flow when using methanol. That would highly useful for those pushing the car hard.

Probably. It's just a matter of settings and BMS is normally pretty accommodating on that front.

Now the shift indicator is a nice touch. I like that feature even for a AT. I would make the SES light instead of hazard and use the hazard for meth flow.

While I hold no special affinity for either, from where I am standing the procede is about a year ahead of anything bms has. Kinda of like the iPhone. Android gets close and Boom, new iPhone sends them scrambling.

Please don't flame me, just an opinion. Always remember that opinions are like ass****, everybody has one. Go ahead, call me an ass**** I know I'm begging for it!
And while the iphone is yet again falling apart, the evo is taking over.

The CAN technology is being spun off in to a separate module to get it to a very demanding customer base as soon as possible. See my other threads on it. The upgraded JB3 board is still under development/testing and on schedule.
