I'll put in my 2 cents and say that I think that reving the engine at startup is just plain gay!
The idea of reving my engine every single time at startup is another way of saying, "look at me and tell me how cool I am."

This feature should only be available for people that want it, and there should be a full time mode.
I'm just asking why not a full time high performance v2 without reving?

Revving to 1800rpm (just 300rpm higher than a cold start-up) screams "look at me and tell me how cool I am."

FWIW, the RPM trigger can be raised or lowered by the end user through the user software. If want the car to default to the high output mode upon start-up, just set the RPM trigger to 0 RPM.

An 1800 RPM blip is hardly an attention getter. Try it.

1800 rpm really is nothing. It's not like he asking yall to redline your car in the garage to activate the PROcede, lol.

I'd be more interested if there was going to be on-the-fly map switching between lets say 93 and 100 octane maps. Sometimes a race comes up on the road and it's not really feasible to stop the car, crank it, rev it, to active a 100 octane map.

Cool!

Shiv, will Launch Control be available?

I know you'll post all the info tomorrow, but I was just wondering....

And this is available in v2.0 and we don't have to wait for v2.1 for this?

If so, then this is great news...will you let us know exactly how we set the RPM Trigger to 0 via the s/w before or after loading up v2.0? Thanks.

btw -- GREAT JOB, Shiv on v2.0!!!!!

I'm testing launch control in our shop car right now. I don't think we'll activate it with v2.0 in order to keep things as simple as possible. v2.0 already has enough new features to keep people entertained. We will, however, include the I/O wires necessary to simply activate LC through the software upon release. With a road speed input, it's all really easy stuff.

Or, since Shiv is watching this thread...
Can the V2 be programmed by the user to suit their downpipes?
I read a post that Shiv ordered downpipes, but the question is did he get them?

What do I need to do to make the V2 get the best power from my downpipes?

ROFL

Shiv I think the valet idea is a good one for the occasion when my wife might steel/drive my car. But it looks like you have given an easy out for those that won't want the facility so you have covered all your bases.

i like it, but i would rather it be the other way around auto on rev to stock (and switchable to the other way through laptop)

be nice to quickly go from stock - tune a few times a week so you never get that "i feel slow" feeling as you get used to it

I actually like it that you have to rev to engage V2. This way I can bring in for service and not worry about it.

LOL...that's why it's user-adjustable. That way Shiv can make everyone happy all of the time...

I think you clearly stated it was adjustable to this extent the first time but didn't you say this will not be not ready until v2.1? Therefore, there is no option for v2.0 so we are temporarily stuck with this….correct?

You are a master at side stepping question until provoked.

Is there any way we can get a response from Shiv when we ask this question? He responds to Launch control but not a downpipe map?
