*UPDATE* Black Matte Window Trim NY/NJ Group Install

So what is the max of people that can come? I would love to get it black on my montego and see what it looks like... I always had those fantasies about having those trims black... than I will only need black front grill and my car will be perfect

just get all the info from the first post in this thread for date/time/cost. It needs to be a minimum of 10 people, but no max is set. I figure 15-20 people max.... so you're all good an in!!

Is there any way for us to set up the install in 2 hour windows? Like the cable company? 12-2pm 2-4pm etc etc..I would really prefer to get it done earlier than later.

If not, maybe we could just pick numbers out of a hat when we get there for the order of the install.

John, got you down for Sat, Dec. 1st.

As far as time frames go, it starts at 12pm and goes from there. Most likely first come first serve type of deal like Scott said. I'm sure alot of us won't mind giving up our spots for people that need it done sooner for certain reasons. It is a mini-meet as well as the vinyl install, so everyone will be hanging out. We'll work it out once we get there.

I can meet up with whoever is leaving a bit later, I will be leaving brooklyn around 2.

And im at the top of the list but I wont be there till later so I can switch with someone if you guys are goin by that list

The black trim looks better on ANY color bmw IMO. The chrome ruins the lines/flow of the car. Really gives it the shadowline trim apperance that should have come on all 3ers with sport package like it does on the 7. I think this would look great on cars with the matte grille as well....I like to leave the chrome for benzs.

It's too early for me to tell so far ahead but I usually do some errands on sat mornings, so 2 might work out for me... I don't care which in line I'm on as long as I can have it

Anyone else a Definite to get their trims wrapped in vinyl? I need to call Vigg Designs today (Wed. 11/21) and give him a final head count. So far we are at 12 people, so we're good for the discounted price of $50. or less on Sat. Dec 1st @12pm.

Just trying to give a few more people in the tri-state area a shot at getting this done for cheap! Let me know if anyone else in down. I need to call him by 4pm today (Wed. 11/12) the latest.

hmmm... good point! haha
i guess it depends if the black window trim will flow with your car or not. I think it looks really good on AW. In my case, the chrome just doesn't flow with the rest of my car.
