Trying to look for the right Electronic Junction Box for my car.
My car is a 2009 6MT M3 Sedan. Do I need to be looking for a specific model yr (2009), MT (not DCT), M3 (not non-M3 models) junction box to match? or can it come from ANY model yr E9X 3 series? Trying to look for one that will be "most" matching for my car, looking at junkyard or M3 par stores. Will i need to code it ANYWAYS? regardless of which JBE it comes from?

Bringing up an old thread
Thanks all for providing an idea regarding tackling this issue. I had the same issue as the original poster, was looking in for the past few years Here to update that I ended up purchasing a NEW JBE box OEM (was couple hundred bucks), got it coded from a reputable BMW shop (NOT dealer, they would have costed thousands just to diagnose and another thousands to just to install + code). anyways, it is working perfectly, no more cold weather bug/lag electronically
