I am not going to use the metal washer that comes with the Monroe kit as it seems redundant. Any issues?

So long as your stock washer/cup is in good shape, no reason to use it. See the recent thread in this forums for what I mean.

My Monroe kit is getting delivered today, but if the pictures are an indication, it may be wise to swap the stock support cap for the Monroe washer if you are in a cold climate that sees salted roads. Or at least paint/coat the stock cap. Corrosion of that stock cap appears to be how people's top rear shock mounts end up flopping around in the trunk.

What do you guys think of the yellow powerflex upper shock mounts? I really can't find any reviews on them

I have them on my car, they're fine. Cured an annoying small amplitude jiggling problem with the rear shocks. No squeaking or noises (make sure you use the supplied lube). Much firmer than stock mounts, mine were old and squishy. However if I'd known about the Monroe prior to buying I may have gone that way for cost purposes.

The mounts don't matter, it's the sleeve that is either 10 or 12mm ID.
I have the yellow powerflex upper shock mounts on my olhins, but I want to switch them out for the powerflex black. Do you know what size I need? 10 or 12, I can't remember...

I just got the ohlin rts and am having a hard time reinstalling the adjuster knob. Not the extender or even the circular dial knob. I mean the portion you need to thread off so you can fit the mount on first. When I reattach it only allows me 18 clicks of adjustment on one side and 30 on the other. You have any suggestions?

That's odd! I haven't played around with my Ohlins for a while. Hopefully I will have chance to check them out soon. If you haven't solved your issue by then, I will try to come up with a couple of suggestions...

Nice find. I would assume they use the same material as the uppers. When I switched out my shocks my lower mounts were in very good shape so I re-used them. That was 13k miles ago already so perhaps I will throw these in soon.

Looking forward to your review.

Nice find. I think I paid about twice as much for each stock mount. Assuming these are comparable, they represent a big savings.

I'm about to order ST (by kW) coilovers and was wondering if these shock mounts will fit them. Would the sleeve insert fit or would I need to open it up a bit?

Thanks

Edit: Feuer, also looking forward to seeing if the lower shock mount fits, thanks!

If they arrive by Fiday I will install them over the weekend. Can't wait honestly because I have one bad shock bump stop thar I need to replace as well.
