Well, it looks like i'm a little late with the pics, but after my coilover install turned into a giant PITA it took a little longer than expected. Anyway, here are some pics that I snapped during my install. I noticed that if you use a credit card to cut off the excess vinyl instead of using a razor blade worked out much better for me...

The finished product...

This particular vinyl was probably the easiest to work with of any vinyl I have ever applied. I didn't have to use any soapy water or even add heat to get it to bend. Just pull it with your hands and take your time and it will form to the shape of the trim pretty easily. If you want it absolutely perfect then I would recommend that you take it to a shop, but as a DIY i'm very happy with the way it turned out. It took me a few hours to do with taking my time and never having done it before, but its not hard by any means. It just takes some patience.

You having posted the pictures. It's precut vinyl, I just cant believe people are paying 70 dollars for someone else to cut the vinyl in the general shape of the trim and send it to them when they could pay 20 dollars, probably do it right the first time, and if not do it over 20 times before running out.

Dude, no one is trying to pull a blanket over anyone's eyes. From the beginning they have said that this was PRECUT VINYL, nothing more than that. I have no use for 600 feet of matte black vinyl, and for the time that this saved me it was worth it for me. I guess your time is less valuable than mine is. You could probably save yourself a lot of money if you cut out the middleman with other things in life also, but like all things in life it comes down to time, money, and aggravation. Sometimes my time is worth more than the extra cost of an item if its going to save me a few hours and some aggravation.

please be my guest to make your own!! We are not forcing anyone to buy our vinyl, we are just giving people an option if they want to eliminate the headache of figuring the correct patterns out on there own! If you can do it on your own, please do! I encourage it!

Thanks again Brad for the extremely fast shipping... I'm glad that the GB turned out to be a success and I look forward to doing business with you guys again.

Haha... my last 4 cars have been silver and I have had just about every color wheel finish on my cars. For this one, i'll be ditching the oem wheels next, but I think i'm going to stick with silver. I do really like your new gunmetal CSL's though.

looks good guys. i understand where all the nay sayers are coming from about the cost but your really paying for the service VS the material. everyone that went in on the GB knew exactly what they were getting, i personally would rather just take the time to cut my own but i enjoy doing that kind of stuff anyway. thanks for offering a great product to the forum for those who don't want to deal with the hassle! looks sweet!

i hope that you'll correct the huge typo here...these are not shadowline..get it from a 328/325. Shadow line is suppose to be glossy. now you're just getting a matte black look which is identical to the 325/328 trim not M

actually you are wrong. M3 trim is matte black, i just saw it in person at the LA auto show. M5 and M6 cars have gloss trim, as well as the M-sport 3 series, but absolutely the e92/e90 M3's have matte trim

^ Does it even matter? It says in big letters in the thread title that this is for matte black vinyl trim. People get their panties in a bunch over the most stupid stuff. What a huge typo.

all paid kits are shipped. and just a little note, i chopped off about .5cm of my finger today cutting these, so there is one advantage to paying for pre cut vinyl! literally picked up the edge of my finger tip off the floor and threw it away hahah
