My 1955 Speedster 1500S. Bought it from the first owner's widow with just 5,400 original miles on it.

It was the right choice at the time, but I still hated giving up my 2nd Baja Bug

My '69 Camaro bought brand new. It was actually in two wrecks. The second I was hit from behind and they cut the car in two and welded the ass end of another vehicle onto it. Unbelievable job. You couldn't even tell. Kept it another 60K miles. It rode fine, did not use tires. Talk about craftsmanship!!!

2016 Corvette Z51
I had an accident and had significant damage done to the bottom of the car. After 3 months repair at the body shop, they put it back in one piece. There was no paint work done on it whatsoever. I ended up trading it the next year with only 500 miles on it for a new Alfa Romeo. The only consolation was I got a check from the Alfa dealership for $5000 |

Man I started this thread back in February, nice to see people still posting. All though it’s been a while.

For me it’s the following 2 cars.....
2004 BMP Volkswagen .: R32 - People can argue all they want about which Model year R is the best, but the 2004 VW R32 is by far the only true R! 6 cylinder engine with a great exhaust note to go along with her. 2004 e46 BMW /// M3. Another fine example of a great car. Would love to have one sitting in the garage next to my f80!

Just about every car I ever traded back. Too numerous to mention. A C7 Corvette Z51 Stingray is one of them.

My very first car, purchased at the ripe age of 18. Did everything with this car, built motor, supercharged, custom fabrication work, full widebody, dry carbon panels, everything authentic. Made 375whp, which was plenty for a lightweight RWD sports car. Gutted the interior, went through hell and back with tons of parts. This was the car I learned everything on, but most importantly, do it right the first time around or you will waste time and money
and I also miss this one, still one of the prettiest looking and sounding cars I've had the pleasure of owning. It just really wasn't the best fit for daily-driver duties in San Francisco.

great looking and tons of fun during track days. I found another one that I am slowly making reliable once again. Last edited by WiM235i; 09-27-2019 at 02:24 AM.. Reason: photo |

1995 Acura Integra GS-R - first car that was "mine’ - learned manual transmission on it, first stab at mods - headers, exhaust, intake, lighting, pedals/shifter, suspension and audio. Drove it like it was stolen, tracked many times (1/4mile mostly) but ultimately sold it cause it was at 120k plus and SoCal traffic every day to and from work was brutal.
