DCI and cowl delete in two pics, third is to reference the cowl. All my zip ties were snapping so I couldn't get the wires all tucked back. Bought some better quality 14 inchers at Walmart and will try again when the temp is above 19f. Removed the snorkel and added two bolts to hold on the remaining front part.

The intake is Injen, I debadged them and after my old filters got nasty I got some replacement once that are little bigger. INJEN X-1047-BB. Are you talking about struts or strut bar? I got KW V2 coilovers and thats Cusco strut bar. |

No formal DIY but the process is pretty simple, here is an brief guide. This is for my E61 but process is likely similar on your car.
- Buy some 5/8" heater hose (I think it was 5/8 but not positive) I used Vibrant. - Disconnect hardline from HPFP, master cylinder, and the small vac line by driver side strut (my E61 had a connection here, not sure about E9X) - Use a razor to scour and eventually cut the line off the plastic connections - Cut the heater hose in sections to give you the routing needed/preferred for your engine bay. My vac tanks were relocated to the firewall behind my OCC and their connection from the HPFP the vac lines go under my TB/CP so I don't have to worry about those lines running up and over the valve cover like they did in stock configuration. Off the HPFP connection my E61 had that dual-connection fitting that went to the vac tanks and then the ugly 90 degree fitting that protrudes up between the oil filter housing and manifold, I swapped these so off the HPFP there is the 90 fitting and then the vac line connections, having the 90 closer to the HPFP helped me reroute more of the ugliness under the manifold. Hope this helps It is made by Ultra Racing Quote:

Clean pics..
I wanted to add that under certain circumstances you can get dirt (salt in my case), in your engine bay from removing the snorkel.. Mind you I was commuting in a blizzard and the splash mark on my engine cover was very minimal, it did happen. Wanted scoops for looks but it would probably be wise to add the snorkel back on at this point if one were to take this route.
