A few updates:
I sold the BMW carbon fiber performance spoiler and bought an M3 trunk lip. I spent a few hours a couple weeks ago cleaning the engine bay, I bought some engine cleaner from Auto Zone and went to work. Looks brand new under the hood! I just picked up a very nice set of style 230's a few days ago!! I still need to buy tires though. I spent all day today cleaning all of the brake dust and gunk, so now they are looking brand new! and a random of the interior

Yeah I can't freaking wait man lol. I think 19's fill out the wheel wells much better than 18's. I was, but I just moved to Florida a few months ago and financially the smart thing for me to do is keep the car for a while.

Yup the 230's fill up the wells very nicely but most importantly they're a sick set of shoes! Also its great to see that you've decided to keep her. Keep the mods coming!!

Love this thread!
People need to shut the hell up about the whole "M3 to 328i" thing though. Who cares! Beautiful ride man, and awesome since-retired S2K as well

All these mods on a car that will never be fast. Like the one guy said why not get a 335 when your installing power upgrades. Car look nice and I can't argue you tuning it... but isn't that for more power. Maybe I'm just different but I think it's not worth the money tuning anything but a 335 or M series.

Hey Chris, the 230's look great but how come you didn't get 235/35's for the front? Btw an M-Tech rear and a set of spacers is definitely needed
Thanks for sharing bro!

Love this thread, very tasteful mods. Also an ex-S2K owner here, gave up the AP1 once the baby came along, for an E90 330i sedan...
Really making me want to pull the trigger on the BMW PE + aFe pipes, if only it wasn't so damn expensive! But yeah these cars are way too quiet stock. Was it easy to do the install yourself? Any parts needed besides the pipe cutter... and did you clamp or weld? |
