Yes it could..John you actually have a much better video in there showing fuel pressure bouncing between 60 and 80 a couple times...this one doesn't dip below 70 but even this shows it pretty well.. |

very interesting find. curious as to what improvements can be made to steady the pressure. is it a flaw with the lpfp itself...or something else?

ROFL...that won't happen.
First, all of their weight is over the rear wheels...they can pull 0-61mph right about 3.2 sec. with lanuch control. On pump gas. Stock 1/4 mile is 10.8s. Do some minor tuning, low-mid 10s. No way a 335i is doing that anytime soon, if ever. Not when they are barely able to do 500whp with Race gas/Meth etc...on upgraded turbos. Plus traction would be a major problem. Now, 60-130mph, it wouldn't be embarassed too badly, but still no chance. Nice gains.

Nice find, What I said was barely a joke . I was too excited to see a 335 can make up to 500hp. What came up in my mind is just the 500hp 997TT PDK with the same output and just brought it up.
I think what makes the 997TT PDK win so much is the gearbox. Unbeatable. Of course these 2 cars are not comparable either. (stocker vs modifier) Quote:

face to face worked in the old days, and with all the internet chatter - we seem to loose perspective on the importance of sharing ideas (good or bad) i am glad to hear stuff like this... i keep telling my management we need to provide a meeting place and forum for enthusiast to get together -- even though its a small segment of the market -- bottom line we are car people -- the faster the better. im going to keep working on it though, ooh how i miss the late nights, the smell of racing fuel, oil and fresh rubber. |

sounds great! I'd also really appreciate it if I can get on the beta list, so I can actually drive my car trouble free.

from what i read, everyone doesnt need to ditch their OCC's --
the statement was: "If you are seeing weird on-boost issues with respect to cylinder to cylinder AFR imbalances or random misfires, try removing your catch can if you have one." this would be a diagnostic measure, if any problem existed prior to the can removal -- and disappear afterwards then it may have been the problem. |
