Mark and Denn, both great pics!

Super sharp moon shot Mark. I tried to take a moon shot last night, but after two wines, a shot of makers, and a port with desert, for some reason, I couldn't hold the lens very steady!

I took some tonight that are hopefully better, but I am too tired to deal with them until tomorrow.

Ok, so one of my drunken moon shots came out ok, not as sharp as Marks, but not too bad...handeld, ISO 200 f5.6 1/640 at 400mm

Luckily the only one I have to ask permission from to buy new camera gear can't talk. Even then Carl might get upset if I ran out of kibble money after laying out eleven large for a lens! Plus I really want the 500 f4 more than the 400 f2.8.

It may be early next year, but I hope to be selling my 500/f4L IS for around $6,000 and moving up to the 600/f/4L IS-II. It's going to require a big bonus, but Q1 was good enough to do the trick, if we can hold for the rest of the year. We'll see...

I'll advertise it here first when it's time.
