Checked with some officers and they said they just sign off as they did before, no stamping, just signature, badge #, and dept.

I think this is a hit or miss type of situation. I was on the 405 the other night going 85 with a cop on the motorcycle riding right next to me on the carpool lane and nothing happened

What up guys...i generally do not have good luck with cops, although I currently drive an SUV and don't normally speed. My last 2 tickets were for going 80mph on the 210 at 1am in the morning, with barely anyone on the freeway.
I'm getting my 335 in about 2 weeks, and really want to tint the windows all around (except windshield). I"m thinking of going 35%, but I'm very paranoid with the cops. I don't want to have the tints removed or pay the $150-200 for a ticket. What do you guys recommend? Get the tint and f$#k it, or don't even bother? I know it'll look so much nicer with the tints, but sometimes I just don't know if they're worth it.

I just got a ticket today on the toll road. My transponder was up on my dash and it beeped. The guy said he didn't see it and the tollroad didn't say it registered (BS IMO, it beeped). Anyhow, got me for no plates and transponder not properly mounted. I guess you need to put it up there with velcro from what he was saying.
Oh well, fix-it ticket. The cop was polite though.

Oh, it was on the 73 N around 9:30am. Cop was just on the side by the toll booth as always. Funny thing is, I've seen him there a lot. If my transponder didn't go off, he would've gotten me the other times.

i almost got pulled over today
TWICE, i managed to sneak out. first i got into traffic w/ a cruiser infront of me and tailed it for about 2 miles nothing happened on my way back to Irvine, CHP drove pass me and I switched from the inner most lane which had no cars in front of me to the 2nd lane beind a jeep. the CHP cruised 2 cars ahead of me for about 1 min. and took off, He busted a Prius (wth?!) for something... as soon as they got on the 22ramp and I got on the 5 south ramp, I just floored it and wanna get back home as soon as possible what a day....

a cruiser paced me on the 118 at 12am last night. i was doing 80 pacing a motorcycle with no traffic whatsoever. i see a car hop on the fwy at tampa on my rearview. i watch him come up at me fast but slowed down when he was about 4 car lengths back. i immediately downshift to 5th and slow down to 70 and the motorcycle does the same. i slow down even more to get off at topanga and sure enough CHP cruiser drives by me.
