I have a ZF8 G87 and it wheel hops even without launch control. Haven't felt wheel hop like this since the days I owned a solid-rear-axle Mustang.

Did it on dry, did it on damp roads. Did it with T/C fully off. Did it on MDM. PS4S were at the right temperature and pressure. Car also had just had an alignment to center the steering wheel and alignment is bang on.

It's not launch control related. Seems to be bad suspension geometry or shock valving.

Make sure the shipping blocks were actually removed from the car!

It’s a common issue because of outright oversight on the technicians part, and a lack of QC at BMW service centers

I have never experienced this w/ the G87

With temps over 50° it makes no sense

2nd this. I’d think this would be the main culprit as the G87 does not wheel hop that easily in these conditions with launch control off. In fact, I’ve never had wheel hop and I’ve done it all in this car under all conditions. If I were to bet, I’d say shipping blocks also.
