I did PCD in SC at the end of September and it was awesome. If I own another new BMW I will be doing it again.

I would recommend PCD if you can. It's a great experience, and you can map some good routes home...only downside is the first 1200 miles are the break in period.

As long as you are ordering the car, you should qualify for the delivery option from any dealer. There are some here who have experienced push back on it - but it's worth your persistence if you do.

I ordered a wheel and tire set from BMW a few weeks ago so they’d be at the dealer when the car arrived. I’m in Chicago and definitely wouldn’t want to drive in summers.

It is on the boat now, with status 165.
So the dates might just be random.

It's just their best estimate, not random...unreasonable to expect them "commit to em" unless you are willing to accept an unfinished car.

1/3 The car is sitting at the VPC in Baltimore with an open work order that was opened on 12/29. It was supposed to be at the dealer on 1/1, but no clue when it will be delivered now. They need to install the m performance rear spoiler. CA says that is what the open work order is for.

01/09 Car has been delivered to the dealer. I bought a winter tires and wheel package from them, but they ordered ones that fit the old chassis. They are 18s that won’t clear the brakes on the ZTK package. They are getting me the correct wheels and tires, so I will be able to pick up on Friday.

I do have the 893M, but they aren’t on the car. Those are from a winter wheel and tire package.
