There was a frozen grey at the Adelaide Motor Festival today. Had the carbon seats which isnt my thing but i must say it was far more visually appealing than I expected and way better than the other colours available up to now IMO. New M2 might be back on the agenda again

Must confess this black car looks fantastic...currently in Hanoi and missing my Brooklyn Grey G87 (absence makes the heart grow fonder),

I didn't know it's even possible to opt the sunroof, instead.

Otherwise how much discount can I achieve?

Great photos, also live near the Anzac bridge, look forward to seeing you out and about. This is my exact spec, had been meaning to take some good pics of it but I'll just use yours

Thanks mate these were taken in Pyrmont to get the Anzac bridge in the back. No where near home though - drove in for the pics! Use them all you like

Out of interest how big is the ‘issue?’ I’m yet to get my M2, (due July) and have been curious about general driving fuel consumption? 400km and 120 bucks to fill?

I've settled down. 3.5K on it now, and I range from 8s - 9s per 100k (I had a country drive coming up from down south and got a 6.5/100 over a 143k stint!). Im getting around 500+K to the tank easily with sedate driving mixed with some spirit now and then. But I know some folks have that right foot buried often and I know it can jump up real quick. I just (thankfully for wallet and license) don't drive like that.
So take my earlier jest with a grain of salt!

As noted above(previous post), its throttle dependent. The question is how well you can control the impulse to enjoy the power.

Thanks bro. I’m similar to your driving style mostly. Getting pinged in this country you’re hit with too big a stick. But that’s actually much better than I thought with 8-9’s. My 2016 S3 which I’m upgrading from I don’t think has ever seen 6L/100 despite my babying the throttle on highways.

I think my March average was 9.1 and that was more short trips. It’s no 4pot but pretty good for what you have in store when you decide to use it!

I can't give you a number because I haven't had the courage to check, but I daily drive my car, often in traffic, and am now on a first name basis with my local service station.

Its fun to make friends like that lol I check gauge, get gas, get moving again. If I wanted a Honda to sip fuel Id have one lol. This fuel economy is just throttle dependent. Fun yes but it does burn swiftly at times.

Those of you with Carbon seats, any word from your dealer about the track days that we need to redeem? I've asked a couple of times at BMW but I'm not getting anywhere.

What are people paying drive away with the standard seats + service pack?

Seems to be plenty of M2 stock available.
